    This is somewhat similar to Dahn Oudh al Shams, but much gentler. The funk-level is lower, and it doesn't project nearly as much as al Shams. Even though the projection is low, the longevity is good. The smell is initially not that much different from al Shams, but soon sweet and leathery cambodian oud takes away the harshness and leads to a pleasant experience.

    Not the strongest I have, nor the longest, but strong.
    Very good projection, very good longevity.

    I'd like to mention that the opening to mid is sour, very sour.
    I don't mind but it's good to know.

    Then the drydown is a pleasant wood that most actually like. Nothing funky here any more, nothing animalic.
    That all goes to the top and mid.

    Good, real perfume and I'm glad that I own it.
